of the museum

We're open daily from 10am till 5pm. Naturalis is closed only three days a year; Kings day, the 'Leidens ontzet' (3 October) and Christmas Day (25 December).

of museum tickets and parking tickets

You can buy your tickets for Naturalis via tickets.naturalis.nl. Ofcourse you can buy tickets at the museum. Do you have a Museum card? Then you don't need an extra ticket.

Naturalis has two entrances. Darwinweg 2 (coming by foot or public transport) and Mendelweg 2 (coming by car or bike). The museum can be easily reached with public transport and is located within walking distance of Leiden Centraal train station. From the station, the walking route is clearly marked. We advise you to travel with public transport. 

Food
and beverages

Want to take a break with coffee and cake? Or have a nice lunch? This is possible in the restaurant on the ground floor, at the coffee corner on the 5th floor or the café on the 9th. Naturally, you're free to bring your own refreshments as well. You can eat it at the café on the 9th floor.
