New programs for all ages
A new museum also means a brand-new range of educational workshops and engaging exhibition programs. We develop all of our programs according to five criteria: our big five. In this way, we guarantee our high quality, consistently emphasize our educational vision and always encourage an investigative learning attitude. Real natural objects keep children perpetually amazed. By exploring relevant topics, they acquire research skills. In other words, Naturalis is the one place where you can learn all about the richness of nature.
Wait until 2019? No need! With our digital teaching resources, you simply bring Naturalis into the classroom. For example, the Verwonderwereld program (Dutch) lets pupils (ages 4–12) dive into the world of dinosaurs and bees in a playful way. They will come away knowing exactly how a happy (or angry) Tyrannosaurus rex moved. The pupils study bees in their own surroundings, too.
Oral presentation? Useful info in the Naturalis Natuurwijzer
Are your pupils working on an oral presentation or a project about nature? They can find everything they need in the Naturalis Natuurwijzer (Dutch): from fantastic images to fun facts, as well as interesting stories from researchers. Their oral presentation or project is bound to be a success.
