It is crucially important to obtain a deeper understanding of the genetics, adaptive potential, and resilience of marine biota in the context of environmental change, yet few research teams address this topic across geological to ecological time scales. Our approach is specimen based and we use state of the art techniques to identify, describe, and assess morphological variability of our target taxa. All members of the Marine Biodiversity group are world-renown specialists in their respective groups.
