Chantal Huijbers

Chantal Huijbers is a Senior Project Manager at Naturalis Biodiversity Center. She manages the 4D-REEF research program, which is an Innovative Training Network funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions scheme. 4D-REEF focuses on the role of turbid coral reefs for the future of marine ecosystems in the Coral Triangle as they respond to anthropogenic environmental change.

Chantal obtained her PhD in Marine Fish Ecology in 2012 at the Radboud University Nijmegen, Netherlands on the sensory mechanisms and movement behavior of tropical marine fishes in coastal ecosystems.
