As a participant in eDentity, you actively contribute to a large-scale study of biodiversity in the Netherlands, and get valuable information about the nature in the area where you took your samples. On this page you will find useful information, manuals and documentation to help you get the most out of eDentity.
What should I submit?And when?
As a partner, you deliver the soil, water or air samples that are collected at your site. This is done at a pre-arranged time, according to clear and standardised instructions you receive from us. So you don't need to be a specialist - we provide a practical manual, the necessary materials and training if needed.
Besides the samples, we ask for a few additional details, such as the exact location coordinates, the type of environment (e.g. Forest or urban area) and information about the time of sampling. This information is collected using the ADA sampling tool available for mobile phones, which helps to properly interpret the data and link it to broader biodiversity patterns.
Importantdocuments
As eDentity advances, more and more documents, protocols and instructional videos will appear on this page. For now, we'll leave it at:
- The general terms and conditions (in Dutch)
- Instructions on taking soil samples
- Instructions on the sampling app ADA
