Ik ben een ecoloog uit Brazilië die gepassioneerd is over tropische bossen, met speciale nadruk op de patronen en processen die gerelateerd zijn aan hun structuur en diversiteit. Mijn voornaamste onderzoeksinteresses omvatten kwantitatieve gemeenschapsecologie, de taxonomische, functionele en phylogenetische diversiteit van boomsoorten en de ecologie, successie en het hersteld van tropische bossen.
