Spotlight experiment: spider evolution

Andres Rivera Quiroz

The LiveScience hall is there to showcase the work of our scientists, but we use it to experiment with museum stuff as well. We would like to know if we can get the museum audience to engage with researchers that do not speak Dutch, and what's the best way to do it. So we try out different forms, and ask our visitors what they think. Care to help us out in this study?

The evolution
of spiders

Our Andres Rivera Quiroz is from Mexico, and he knows everything about spiders. In his mini-lectures (we call them "spotlights") he will explain his work, and also why humans should be less afraid of spiders.

The Spotlights last twenty minutes. The first one starts at 11:00 and the second one at 13:00. The lectures will be in English, and you will be asked to fill in a short questionnaire afterwards.
