Museum visit
questions and answers

Is there a space where I can use a breast pump?

Yes, please ask a staff member for more information.

Are there any other museums nearby that I can easily visit?

Yes, other museums in Leiden are within easy reach on foot or by bike.

Can I smoke at Naturalis?

Naturalis is a family museum,  so smoking is not allowed anywhere in the museum. This also applies to e-cigarettes. There are outdoor undercover smoking areas away from the entrance. Simply show your ticket to re-enter the museum afterwards.

I’m a teacher and want to scope out the museum first. Can I do this?

Yes, up to two people from your school or institution can do this. Please contact reserveringen@naturalis.nl from your school or institution email address.

I work at an after-school care facility. Can I visit Naturalis with a group of children?

Yes, we recommend making a reservation for this. Please contact reserveringen@naturalis.nl for more information.

Do you have a car park? How much does it cost?

Yes, there is a car park on Mendelweg (€7.50 per day, no hourly rate). Due to ongoing work on our new car park, this space is very limited until mid-November 2025. Parking can only be paid for at the museum. This also applies to the four parking spaces for people with a disability.
