After obtaining my MSc degree in Agricultural Plant Science at Wageningen University in 2014, I obtained a job at the Indonesian Ornamental Crops Research Institute (OCRI) in Java. My passion is to help develop new ornamentals. From 2017 onwards, I am pursuing a PhD project at Naturalis Biodiversity Center and Leiden University with a scholarship from the Indonesian Agency for Agricultural Research and Development (IAARD). I am investigating the evolution and development of highly specialized tissue in orchid flowers, fruits and inflorescences.
