I have a deep interest on the interplay of biological processes on the community assemblage of epiphytic bryophytes in the Amazon. Although this is not my main research theme anymore, I still work on this subject through student supervision.
Relevant questions are: how are species distributed across the Amazon Basin? Which microclimatic and macroclimatic elements influence species occurrence? Are there morphological traits related to the different microhabitats where species grow?
